Mark Unwin, born in Guildford, Surrey in
1963 and educated locally, I have always strived to achieve the very
best in everything that I do! After leaving school I worked in retail
for a while and then discovered the Estate Agency profession. I entered
the business with Bairstow Eves in 1985, as a trainee and quickly
established myself within a very successful team. After 3 continual
years I moved on to their sister company, Mann & Co, where I then
progressed through the ranks. After 15 years I then decided it was
time for a change! After many years of visiting the island with my
wife Hayran, I realised that there was an opening for a qualified
and professional estate agent here. So in September 1999, we 'set
sail' for Northern Cyprus where our story really starts. Our first
office opened in December 1999, with limited expectations, but we
soon surprised ourselves and started selling a lot faster than any
one expected. The market then seemed to rapidly take off and we have
not looked back, since we believe we have created a comfortable and
easy way for investors to buy into this exciting property market.
